When we meet
About us
The Belfast Climbing Club is a group of like-minded people that come together to enjoy climbing in Northern Ireland and further afield. We aim to provide an open, social and friendly space for locally-based climbers to meet, climb together and develop their climbing, and to provide opportunities to explore new places.
We don’t provide formal training but climbing with club members is a great way to pick up some informal training - and the club helps to organise formal courses for those interested.
Club members all share in the club's rewards and responsibilities. The club aims to promote and preserve the climbing way of life, including traditional rock climbing, bouldering and indoor lead climbing / bouldering. To act as an advocate to protect local climbing areas, preserve our fantastic climbing history and chronicle all types of future local climbing achievements.
